Water logged cell phone
Recently my cell phone was damaged because I spilled a glass of water and it covered my phone. Within minutes my phone was not functioning. A friend of mine had the same problem and recommended a solution: Take your cellular phone apart by removing the battery and battery cover and place aside. Then take your phone and place it in a zip lock bag along with several cups of uncooked white rice. Seal the bag and let it sit for a couple of days. The dry white rice will pulls the moisture out of the phone. So, I tried this out and to my amazement, the phone turned on and worked as new. This little trick only works with phones that have only slight water damage. A completely submerged phone is probably beyond help. Aloha, Marcy |

I would need about three pounds of rice. My wife accidentally included my cell phone in with the laundry.
